A Bow cream jug, a teabowl and saucer and a Chelsea sucrier, circa 1753-56 The sparrow beak jug painted in a colourful palette with a figure fishing from a riverbank under a blue tree with red and green foliage, another figure sailing beyond blue and yellow rocks, 8cm high, the flared teabowl and saucer painted in famille rose palette with prunus growing before bamboo by a fence, brown line rims, saucer 11.5cm diam, teabowl and saucer with the same painter's mark, the Chelsea sucrier painted in kakiemon style with three varied flower sprays, one tied with a blue ribbon, 6.6cm high, red anchor (4) Footnotes: Provenance Elizabeth Adams Collection The kakiemon pattern on the sucrier appears on Chelsea and Bow, most likely having been taken from Meissen rather than a Japanese original.
