AN ENGRAVED MANHATTAN FIRST MODEL, THIRD VARIATION .22 CALIBER REVOLVER IN ORIGINAL FACTORY BOX, c. 1860-61. Serial number 5727, foliate scroll engraved octagonal barrel with German silver front sight and with rib marked 'MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS/MANUFG./CO./N.Y.,' plain seven-shot cylinder, iron frame with engraved brass inset on grip frame, smooth walnut grips; with original marbled factory box with printed label. Barrel lg. 3 1/2, overall lg. 7 in. Condition: Barrel and cylinder toned to mottled gray, frame has no silver remaining, grips have minor wear action functions properly; box is very good with some toning and staining to the label.
