Serial number 7821, foliate scroll engraved octagonal barrel with German silver front sight and with rib marked 'MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS/MANUFG./CO./N.Y.,' plain seven-shot cylinder, silvered iron frame, smooth walnut grips; with original marbled box with printed label, lined in c. 1873 newspaper. Barrel lg. 3 1/2, overall lg. 7 in. Condition: Barrel and cylinder toned to light brown with traced of bluing in the recesses, frame retains approx. 50% silvering, grips are excellent with very minor blemishes, action functions properly; box is very good, label is toned.
