AN ENGLISH SCREW BARREL FLINTLOCK POCKET PISTOL, by Brazier, third quarter of the 18th century. 5 in., .60 caliber cannon muzzle barrel on a steel box lock frame engraved 'LONDON' on the right side and 'BRAZIER' on the left within leafy decoration, London Company of Gunmakers proof marks on the underside; walnut stock with scrolling silver wire inlay and silver grotesque mask butt cap. Overall lg. 12 in. Condition: Steel toned to light gray; stock is a little loose on the frame, has minor abrasions and associated losses, small area of wire inlay is lifting on the left side; silver is tarnished; action functions, but needs attention.
