A RARE FRENCH DEVISME REVOLVER, by Louis-Francois Devisme, Paris, mid-19th century. Serial number 15567, 11mm caliber, blued barrel engraved 'Devisme a Paris' on the top, cylinder with six chambers, locking lever and ejection rod; checkered walnut grip with lanyard loop on the butt. Barrel lg. 5 3/4, overall lg. 12 1/4 in. Condition: Bluing shows wear on the barrel and grip but remains fairly strong overall; stock some wear and gouges in the checkering, bright bore with sharp rifling and some minor pitting, action functions properly.
