A Group of Grace Kelly Photographs Comprising 6 gelatin silver photographs, all but one being vintage 1950s, 2 with original snipes/captions on verso, including 2 of Kelly in a white negligee, one of her as a child with her siblings (printed later), one of her hiking in Palm Springs, one of her holding her Academy Award for The Country Girl (1954), and one closeup. Together with an 8 x 10 in. color transparency closeup of Kelly and a vintage duplicate of the black-and-white closeup photo. Grace Kelly was at the peak of her celebrity in 1956 when she left her show business career to marry Prince Rainier of Monaco in one of the biggest news stories of the decade. Though she toyed with returning to making films during the years she was Princess of Monaco, the people of Monaco strongly opposed this suggestion. High Society, released in 1956, was her last film. 8 x 10 in. each For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
