An Audrey Hepburn Autograph Letter Signed to a Childhood Friend, 1954 Autograph Letter Signed ('Audrey'), 3 pp, 8vo, [likely Zurich, Switzerland], September 12, 1954, to Anna Fisk, on cream-colored stationery. Lifelong friend from the Netherlands, Anna Boissevain Fisk, enjoyed a regular correspondence with Audrey Hepburn, with the highlight being an invitation to Hepburn's secret wedding to actor Mel Ferrer in Zurich. In this letter, Hepburn can hardly contain her excitement and relays her dearest hope that Anna and her family will be able to attend: 'This is to ask you ... to be with me on this happy day. How I would love it.' The event was a small affair, 'barely 25 people,' and Hepburn was intent on keeping it a 'dark, dark secret, as we want no reporters or photographers.
