Globular body on short foot continues to tall gallery neck pierced behind an applied ogee spout, each side of bowl depicting the arms of MARTIN in Chinese Imari palette with incorrect tinctures, Or [Argent] three pales azure on a chief gules [azure] three martlets of the field [or], and a crest 'intended for A martin passant', the ground filled with symmetrical floral vine motifs, wd. 4 1/2, dp. 3 1/2, ht. 5 5/8 in.
