Flaring rim with chamfered corners, enclosing a colorful floral vine border, four unique tropical bird and berry vignettes decorating the sides outside of a gold chain border surrounding the oblong cavetto, conforming well painted with shield bearing arms of DYKE, Or three cinquefoils sable, festooned with flowers and gilt plumage in famille rose enamels, and surmounted by An arm vested and cuffed argent holding a mace, a variation on the family crest, wd. 14 5/8, dp. 11 1/2, ht. 1 5/8 in.
