Narrow plain-woven panel worked in cross stitch with top registers of alphabet and numbers above center reserve inscribed 'PRISCILLA - G / OODMAN - AGE - D 14-YEARS', the lower half filled with verse, 'I am a maid but young, My skill is yet but small, But if God please to spare my life, I will mend my letters all', dated 1788, in glazed frame.
