Framed Needlepoint Sampler, signed Ann Maria Harr (age 10), 1808. Fine plain-woven canvas worked in colorful threads, including silk, having a cross-stitched strawberry vine border centering a panel with six rows of letters and numbers, the center inscribed 'God will prove our constant friend / his soundless love shall neve[r] end' on either side of a floral urn, all above symmetrical depiction of a stone house and lawn, signed 'ann maria Harr made in The / 10 Year of her age. 1808' in bottom margin, mounted in matted and glazed frame, sight, 9 x 12 1/4 in.
