Plain-woven linen ground worked in thread dyed mellow tones of pastel pink, yellow, and terra cotta, contrasting with dark emerald and brown line borders, the top two-thirds of the panel inscribed with letters and numbers wrought in broderie anglaise and cross-stitch, an indented paragraph of verse below with signature 'Elizabeth Scott Fullton / her work Aged 11 1799' above a hilly landscape with trees, dogs, and a house, in later glazed frame, sight, 12 1/2 x 17 1/2 in.
