AN ENGRAVED MOORE'S PATENT SINGLE ACTION BELT REVOLVER, 1861-63. Serial number 3057, .32 rimfire octagonal blued barrel marked on the top 'D. MOORE. PATENT. SEPT. 1. 1860.' blued seven-shot cylinder; foliate scroll engraved and silvered brass frame, trigger guard and grip strap, smooth walnut grips. Barrel lg. 5, overall lg. 9 3/4 in. Condition: Barrel bluing is mottled with scattered spots of oxidation; cylinder is toned mostly to gray/brown with traces of bluing; silvering is approx. 40% and tarnished; hammer retains good case coloring, trigger bluing is thinning, grip has scattered light dings and dents; action functions properly but is stiff, ejector rod may be a replacement, some screws appear to be replacements.
