A MANHATTAN/LONDON PISTOL COMPANY POCKET MODEL REVOLVER, c. 1858-62. Serial number 34, .31 caliber octagonal barrel with German silver front sight, marked on the top 'LONDON PISTOL COMPANY'; five-shot cylinder with roller engraved stagecoach holdup scene; foliate scroll engraved frame marked in front of the trigger guard 'PATENTED/DEC. 27. 1859,' smooth walnut grips, wedge serial number matches the frame. Barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 8 ¾ in. Condition: Barrel, cylinder and frame toned to mottled gray/brown, cylinder scene is mostly strong, grips have minor wear and blemishes, action functions properly.
