A CASED PAIR OF BELGIAN PERCUSSION POCKET PISTOLS, Liege, second quarter of the 19th century. 2 in., .44 caliber rifled Damascus octagonal barrels screwed to a foliate scroll engraved frame with folding trigger, plain ebony grip with silver thumb piece engraved 'AD' and hinged steel compartment in the butts; housed in a gilt decorated leather covered case opening to a compartmented and purple velvet lined interior with nipple wrench, embossed copper powder flask and single cavity ball mold/barrel wrench. Overall lg. 5 3/4 in. Condition: Pistols are in good overall condition, metal toning to light gray, Damascus texture on the barrels is visible, grips show minor wear and blemishes, actions function properly; case has wear to the corners, the interior is somewhat faded, accessories are in good overall condition.
