A CASED PAIR OF BELGIAN DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION PISTOLS, Liege, second quarter of the 19th century. 2 1/2 in., .44 caliber Damascus barrels screwed to a foliate scroll engraved frame with post-1810 Liege proof mark, double hammers and folding trigger, plain ebonized grips marked '1504' with hinged compartment in the butt; mahogany case opening to a compartmented red velvet lined interior with a turned cap box, single cavity ball mold/barrel wrench and turned horn powder flask. Overall lg. 6 3/4 in. Condition: Pistols are in good overall condition, metal is toned to light gray, Damascus texture on the barrels is strong, grips have scattered scratches, one grip has a short hairline crack near the frame; case shows minor wear, front edge of lid has been repaired, interior is lightly faded and has some stains, cap box lid has been repaired, flask has some insect damage.
