A MANHATTAN NAVY MODEL SERIES I REVOLVER, New York, New York, 1859-60. Serial number 3102, .36 caliber octagonal barrel marked on the top 'MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS MFG CO. NEW YORK.' with German silver front sight and loading lever below; five-shot roller engraved cylinder with five scenes; steel frame, with brass trigger guard and grip strap; walnut grip, all visible serial numbers match including the wedge. Barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 9 1/4 in. Condition: Barrel retains approx.90% bluing, cylinder is toned to gray and scene is strong, frame retains light case coloring, trigger guard and grip frame has trace of silvering in the recesses, grip has minor blemishes, action functions but needs attention.
