A BUSTER KEATON SCENARIO. MILLEN, GILMORE, LOU EDELMAN and EDGAR ALLAN WOLFF. Typed carbon titled 'An Original Story for Buster Keaton,' 21 pp, 4to, Culver City, CA, January 15, 1931, bound with staples in light blue MGM wrappers with typed label to upper cover identifying this as copy #3, stamped 'File Copy,' darkening at edges, loss to label. A 1931 incomplete speculative script written for Buster Keaton by Lou Edelman, Edgar Allen Woolf, and Gilmore Millen. Keaton plays Buster Andrews, a wealthy landlord who after many months of laziness tries to improve the conditions of his tenants. The story is surprisingly dramatic with expected comedy bits, such as Keaton's induction into a street gang of children and visual gags like a comically large hoard of stolen fruits falling out from under his coat.
