Globular body on low foot with straight tapered spout, and applied handle, the interior lip ground to receive flanged cover, embellished with red and gold Kangxi flowers, and one side painted to depict full achievement with the arms of PITT of Blandford, Sable a fess chequy argent and azure between three bezants, with the arms of RIDGEWAY in pretence, Sable two wings conjoined argent, surmounted by the crest, A stork proper issuing from a crimson coronet, and supported by two sable eagles flanking a banner illegibly inscribed 'Amitie' (Friendship), wd. 6 1/2, dp. 4, ht. 4 3/4 in.
