One 4 5/8-inch terracotta medallion with molded border encircling profile portrait of Benjamin Franklin (1709-90) in high relief, encircled by raised inscription 'B. FRANKLIN / AMERICAIN / 1777', the truncation marked with cypher and signature 'NINI / F1777' for sculptor Jean Baptiste Nini (1717-86). 2. One 4 1/2-inch thermoplastic ebony medallion with relief profile portrait of Abraham Lincoln (1809-65), marked 'Bois Duri' in mold on reverse, attributed to patent-holder François Lepage (1796-1871). 3. One 7 5/8-inch transfer-printed dessert plate with figural scene in well depicting a 'Péruvien, Mexicain, and Peau Rouge', number twelve in the Amérique series, the marly pattern featuring various flags, plants, and animals of North America, printed mark of H. Boulenger & Cie of Choissy-le-Roi (active 1804-1938) and impression 'F6' on reverse.
