Three Armorial Porcelain Table Items with Arms of Green and Campbell of Inverneill, Jingdezhen, China, late 18th century. Assembled group includes a large tray with shaped edge lined with gold bead border on a light green enamel ground, the pattern repeating at top of oblate cavetto, the shallow well centering a floral spray surrounded with single-flower sprigs in colored enamels; one small underglaze blue-decorated tray with notched octagonal edge to splayed rim, lined with bead border and floral swags, broken at top to center the enameled crest of CAMPBELL of Inverneill and Ross, A boar's head erased or langued gules, below the motto, 'Fit via vi' (A way is made by labor), the initials 'J.C' inscribed beneath; and one 6 3/8-inch bowl on short foot, the interior edge cobalt-decorated with trellis-patterned band and spearhead border, the edge of well encircled by ring of light green enamel beads, centering a shield bearing the arms of GREEN, Argent a chevron ermine between three bucks trippant, on a canton gules a tower of the field, below the crest, A buck's head couped proper, and framed below by fronds supporting a banner inscribed 'Adsit deus confido' (I trust God is with me), (largest) wd. 13 3/8, dp. 10 5/8, ht. 1 1/4 in. Footnotes: Provenance Circa 1790 saucer with arms of Green purchased from Shreve, Crump & Low. Circa 1775 tray with arms of Campbell purchased from A.V. & M.R.
