2007 KTM 560 SMR Registration no. not registered Frame no. VBKMXP 4337 M 451189 Engine no. 7-590 *38254* In little more than two decades, KTM has gone from being a niche maker of highly successful moto-cross and enduro machines to Europe's largest motorcycle manufacturer. Perhaps not surprisingly given its off-road heritage, the Austrian brand first made an impact in the 'Big Trailie' or 'Adventure' market, kicking off with single-cylinder models in the early/mid-1990s before introducing its first twin-cylinder model in 2003. One of KTM's celebrated 'Super Moto' models, we're advised by the vendor that this 560 SMR is a former press demonstrator that has seen relatively little use. Its press duties at an end, the machine was prepared by KB Racing for New Era club's KTM 560 Race Series, boasting a SIL Moto twin exhaust and a K&N air filter conversion. Stored unused for many years, it will need recommissioning or possibly more extensive restoration before returning to the road and thus is sold strictly as viewed. Footnotes: All lots are sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.
