An engraved presentation bowl by Peter Dreiser, dated 1989 Of deep straight-sided shape, finely decorated with various emblems and depictions of the Medical College of Saint Bartholomew's Hospital, including a view of the King Henry VIII Gate, the Fountain in The Square, the church of St Bartholomew the Less, Charterhouse Monastery, various coats of arms, and an anatomical study of the urinary system, inscribed 'Dr Ian Kelsey Fry, Dean of St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College 1981-1989' around the base, signed 'P. Dreiser 89', the underside with a jockey on a racehorse and a golfer in a bunker, 25.2cm diam, 17.5cm high Footnotes: Of German origin, Peter Dreiser (1936-2006) was one of Britain's foremost late 20th century engravers.
