Wheel-finished soup plate with broad everted rim, the top impressed with roughened groundcover overlaid with applied full-figure molds of a salamander, fish, shells, reptiles, and insects arranged among green leaves, the marly and bottom coated with mottled brown and blue lead glaze, diam. 9 1/2, ht. 1 7/8 in.
