Five Cobalt Decorated Stoneware Vessels, New England, late 19th century. Assembled group includes two crocks, one impressed with mark of F.B. Norton & Co. (Worcester, Massachusetts, c. 1858-80) above a brushed leaf ornament, and the other with mark of E. & L.P. Norton (Bennington, Vermont, 1861-81) above a dotted floral sprig; a one-gallon globular jug impressed with mark of Standish & Wright (Taunton, Massachusetts, c. 1850), above capacity figure '1' and painted tulip motif; one shouldered jug with a wide mouth stencil-painted with advertising mark for florists J.A. Budlong & Son Co. (Auburn, Rhode Island, c. 1900); and one unmarked pail with pouring spout and lug handle, the wide mouth drilled to fit a wire swing handle, largest wd. 11 1/2, dp. 8 1/2, ht. 9 7/8 in.
