Three Large Stoneware Advertising Jugs, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, 19th century. Assembled group of wheel-thrown shouldered jugs with pulled handles, including a two-gallon jug inscribed 'J Grimes + Co / Woonsocket' in blue slip across front below impressed capacity figure; one three-gallon jug impressed 'CHAS DONAHOE / WOONSOCKET / 3' above cobalt-painted flower; and one four-gallon jug impressed with maker's mark of F.B. Norton Sons, Worcester, Massachusetts, above slip-painted inscription, 'Charles N. Stebbins / Woonsocket R.I / #10' across front, largest diam. 11, ht. 17 1/4 in.
