Two Floral Hooked Rugs, America, late 19th/early 20th century. One mounted oval rug with central panel of pink, blue, white, and yellow flowers on a beige ground, the blue and brown hooked border changing to braided rows that continue to edge, which is trimmed by cut-out scallop lining; together with a small rectangular rug hooked with similarly colored flowers within a scroll border, ringed with red and green foliate scrolls, all on a mottled tan ground, hand-sewn binding on outer edge of reverse, which has later Velcro strip for mounting on short end.
