Rectangular lid with applied molded lip opens over well with a shallow four-compartment removable tray, the case dovetailed with butted and nailed base, the top painted with scroll reserve containing a landscape with sailboats and houses, and a similar reserve on front depicts a child on a swing with buildings in distance, and the ends decorated with flower basket motif, borders of red, green, and yellow floral vines repeated throughout, all on near-black ground, (hardware replaced), wd. 10 5/8, dp. 6, ht. 6 in.
