Two Wall Boxes, a Coopered Pail, and Leather Fire Bucket, America, 19th/20th century. One butted and nailed open box with crested backboard, canted front panel, and chamfer-molded base; one pine tabletop slant-lid box with holes for hanging drilled into low arched crest of backboard, slant-lid opening on replaced hinge over a dovetailed well raised on molded base panel, mellow brown-painted surface; one large bucket with unjointed staves, projecting ears supporting bentwood swing handle, and brass-tacked hoops, later dark green and white paint; and one seamed leather fire bucket inscribed 'O. ALLEY. / No. 2 / 1831' in yellow and red paint below red-painted rim, retaining leather ears and brass rings for leather-wrapped rope handle, (fire bucket), wd. 7 3/4, dp. 8 1/4, ht. to rim 13 1/2 in.
