An Edward VII Silver plated Scottish Officer's Dirk of the 2nd Battalion Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders 29cm blade with faceted back edge and double fuller, etched with foliate designs and the 'The 2nd V.B Battalion Gordon Highlanders' and , the obverse etched with a crown over ER VII cypher over foliate designs, carved wood basket weave hilt set with studs, the pommel set with a amber coloured cut glass, supported by a pierced foliate cage, in its leather scabbard with engraved and thistle applied mounts, the locket with Gordon Highlanders badge, complete with companion knife and fork.
