On one sheet (8 x 4 3/4 in.), lined and with the letterhead of the Massachusetts Woman Suffrage Association, dated January 24, 1890, and addressed to 'Dear Friends.' Stone lyrically describes a trip through the countryside to Boston, refers to the Saco Woman's Club, and ends by saying, 'I want to send some book to that factory girl who is so nobly trying to help others while she teaches herself.' Fold marks, toning, blind stamp to upper left, remnants of glued-on brown paper at top of recto.
