GEM-SET BRACELET, CIRCA 1830 Mesh linking, cannetille clasp Oval and circular-cut amethysts Length 16.0cm Weight approx. 28.0g Fitted case Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Overall in good condition for age. Some discolouration to the mesh linking. Under 10x magnification, 4 small pellets missing from cannetille detail, which is not obvious to the naked eye. Clasp secure. The unhallmarked metal (testing as 22ct gold), possibly with a high carat gilding. AMETHYSTS Largest amethyst measuring approx. 15.9 x 12.0mm, displaying light purple hue with excellent transparency. Under 10x magnification and strong light some colour zoning and very light scratches to the table visible. Smaller circular-cut amethysts displaying medium-deep purple hue, some with typical inclusions visible with magnification, some of which surface reaching.
