ENAMEL AND DIAMOND BUTTONS; PASTE BUCKLE, 19TH CENTURY 1st: Three enamel and diamond buttons Blue guilloche enamel Rose-cut diamonds Mounted in silver Length 2.5cm 2nd: Paste buckle Circular-cut paste Mounted in copper One paste deficient Length 9.2cm Total weight approx. 61.5g (4) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some surface wear to unhallmarked metal (1st testing as silver, 2nd testing as copper) with some discolouration to metal commensurate with age. 1st with some losses to enamel to edges of buttons, one button fitting slightly misshapen to reverse. 2nd with one paste missing.
