Edited by Henry Cole, ONE OF SIX COPIES PRINTED ON VELLUM, 37 illustrations after Albert Durer, contemporary blind-stamped black morocco to a 'Renaissance' design, covers with metal corner-piece ornament, central panel embossed with initials 'A.D.', clasp and catch, g.e., joints neatly repaired, later black morocco slipcase [cf. Mclean VPD, p.28], small 4to (200 x 140mm.), [Printed by Charles Whittingham at the Chiswick Press] for James Cundall, William Pickering et al, 1844 Footnotes: ONE OF ONLY SIX COPIES PRINTED ON VELLUM FOR WILLIAM PICKERING.
