Bohn, 1849 Footnotes: 'ONE OF THE PRETTIEST PUBLISHER'S BINDINGS EVER ISSUED' according to McLean, who states that the binding 'broke new ground... but it is rarely seen today in anything approaching its pristine state... for gay colourfulness it could hardly be surpassed'.
