the coffeepot of pear shape, with scroll form spout and wishbone handle, moulded with alt-Brandenstein pattern panels at the rims, painted with vignettes of miners at various pursuits, one figure's cap with gilt AR monogram, the tea canister of arched rectangular form, painted with a continuous scene of gold miners at pursuits, one side panel with a figure raking a pile of earth flecked with gilding, the cover with a similar vignette of a miner, a gilt-scroll border and painted flower sprigs at the shoulder, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to coffeepot, crossed swords mark in blue to canister
