Pier Francesco di Jacopo Foschi (Firenze 1502 - 1567) e aiutiRitratto di nobildonna con libroOlio su tavola88 x 74 cmSi ringrazia il professore Michele Danieli per aver studiato l'opera e confermato l'attribuzione. L'opera è conservata in una pregiatissima cornice fiorentina del XVII secolo, riconducibile ai modelli commissionati dai Medici, visibili a Palazzo Pitti e alla Galleria degli Uffizi.Nacque a Firenze da una famiglia di pittori. Il padre, suo primo maestro, operò nella bottega di Sandro Botticelli. Poi si formò con Andrea del Sarto, infatti, la sua prima produzione evidenzia il sobrio classicismo del maestro, caratterizzato dall'impianto disegnativo di ricercata grazia e dal delicato uso della luce e dalla vivacità cromatica. Ventenne iniziò precocemente la sua attività pittorica come pittore indipendente ricevendo importanti commissioni dai Medici, Pucci e Torrigiani. Tra 1536 e 1537 partecipò alla decorazione della loggia della villa di Careggi assieme al Bronzino, guidati dal Pontormo. Seguì l'importante realizzazione di tre pale d’altare per la chiesa di Santo Spirito. Oramai influente personalità artistica di Firenze venne coinvolto assieme a Vasari, Bronzino, Michele di Ridolfo, Francesco da Sangallo e Giovann’Angelo Montorsoli nella commissione riformatrice della Compagnia di San Luca nell’Accademia del Disegno. Negli ultimi anni della sua vita, ancora molto attivo, partecipo? alle principali imprese collettive promosse dalla neonata Accademia: gli apparati effimeri per i funerali solenni di Michelangelo e quelli per le nozze di Francesco I con Giovanna d’Austria. 1) Lots are offered for sale in public places by Lucas SRLs, which acts as an agent exclusively in its own name and on behalf of each seller under 'art.1704 Code Civ., The Lucas S.r.l. assumes in relation to the contractor or third parties other responsibilities in addition to the obligation arising from its role as agent.
2) Items are sold to the highest bidder, the auctioneer conducts the auction starting with the offer which it considers appropriate, depending on the value of the lot and competing offers. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the seller up to the reserve price.
