A sapphire blue glazed vase from the Qing Dynasty, 19th century, decorated with gilt lacquer bats, round longevity characters and swastika symbols, implying longevity and auspiciousness. Gold lacquer Guang-Xu six-character mark on the bottom.
Height 38 cm.
Provenance: Purchased at the AAG Auctioneers Summer Sale in the Netherlands in June 2014, Lot 206. The original collector was an old European man.
Condition report: In good condition except for partial loss of gold color.
