CHINESE DAO SWORD (CALLED ALSO CHINESE SABRE), WITH ENGRAVED BLADE, LATE 19TH TO EARLY 20TH CENTURY.Origin: Chinese Empire, Quing dynasty, late 19th to early 20th century.Blade: wide, curved single edged blade, with triple narrow fuller next to the spine. False edge starts in the widest part of the blade. Engraved decoration on the blade both sides, depicting flying dragon. Open brass hilt with yelman in shape of the flattened circle, brass ring between yelman and grip. Grip covered with twine, brass pommel.
