In order to be able to offer our customers at home and abroad an even better and faster service in the future, we have decided to have complex shipments carried out exclusively by specialists. The shipping of large, fragile, especially long or especially heavy objects, possibly in combination with each other, has so far led to sometimes lengthy calculations of optimal packaging and shipping costs - which often led to enormous delays in invoicing and consequently to justified resentment on the part of you, dear customers.
Therefore, as of auction A98, we will no longer handle the shipping of all objects that cannot be easily and quickly packed and shipped using standard means (such as small icons, jewelry, small statues, daggers, sabers, medals, steel helmets, etc.) ourselves. Packing and shipping of complex objects are better handled by specialized service providers who have the necessary knowledge, experience, sufficient personnel and suitable packing materials. This can significantly speed up the billing process. This does not apply to firearms, which will continue to be shipped by us in the future.
So starting with auction A98 you will receive your invoice immediately after the auction. If the invoice contains shipping costs, the shipping will be done by us. If there are no shipping costs on the invoice, we ask you to organize the shipping yourself. We can recommend several companies from our area, with whom we have already worked successfully in the past, and who organize the collection from us, packaging and shipping professionally and quickly. If you wish, we will also be happy to obtain shipping quotes from our partners for you. Customs formalities for export outside the EU are also handled by these companies. Of course, you can also commission your own forwarding agent, provided that he is also capable of packing the objects himself. Required export licenses for cultural goods and firearms will be provided by us in any case.
Our recommended partners are listed below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please send an email with the subject "Shipping" to: contact@hermann-historica.com.
Please always write "Versand Hermann Historica" in the subject line" for all inquiries!
Important note
Due to the changed regulations, shipping of firearms of all kinds to destinations outside of Germany by normal low-cost mail is unfortunately no longer possible. We will continue to organize an international shipment by freight forwarding or by special courier services - if possible. However, this will result in a significant increase in shipping costs.
Zu Aufgeld und Mehrwertsteuer prüfen Sie bitte das jeweilige Los.
For buyer’s premium and VAT please check particular lot.

The General Auction Terms and Conditions are listed hereinafter and displayed in the auction room. Both by taking part in the auction and by submitting bids, you agree to accept the General Auction Terms and Conditions.
