A Javanese Keris Solo.
A Javanese Keris Solo.
Umur (age): Kamardikan.
The Keris with a hand forged ‘11 Luk’ waved Wilah (blade), consists of Pamor steel forged in different layers of iron (pattern type: ‘Beras Wutah Tretep’). Dapur in two crowned ‘Naga Pengantin’ (double dragon shape). Silver-plated Mendak (cuff) of ‘Kendit Lung Wideng’ type, between hilt and blade. Ukiran (Keris hilt) in ‘Yudo Winatan’ shape, and carved from Teak wood. Warangka (sheath) of ‘Gayaman Kagok Bancihan’ type (‘kidney’ shaped), also made from Teak wood with Kendit. Gandar (body) with brass Pendok (cover), Bunton Krawang Templek with a fine ‘Lung Budo Kanoman’ pattern.
Length of the blade, including ‘Pesi’ (tang of the blade): 45.5 cm. (1x)
