Umur (age): From the Javanese Hindu Empire of Majapahit.
Asal: possibly Empu Koso (Empu Madura).
The Keris with straight hand forged Wilah (blade), consists of Pamor steel forged in different layers of iron (with fine pattern type: ‘Adeg Sapu’). Dapur in fine ‘Brojol’ shape. Small gilded Mendak (cuff) with ‘Meniran’ between hilt and blade. Ukiran (Keris hilt) in ‘Jejeran Yudo Winatan’ shape with pierced ivory Selut Gading, and carved from Teak wood. The fine Warangka (sheath) of ‘Gayaman Gandhon Kagok’ type (‘kidney’ shaped), also made from Teak wood patiently carved by hand. Gandar (body) with silver Pendok (cover), fine silver Bunton decorated with ‘Anggrek Bulan’ pattern.
Length of the blade, including ‘Pesi’ (tang of the blade): 46.5 cm. (1x)
