A noter une certaine patine et usure de la pièce. Jumelle laissée dans leur état de découverte. Pièce trouvée dans un champ à proximité de la batterie de Merville quelques jours après les combats du 6 juin. Illustrée page 32 du livre 75 objets du Débarquement de Normandie. Attestation originale de provenance signée de Bertrand Paris jointe avec un exemplaire de l'ouvrage. Its case covered with a green camouflage paint. Markings Bino Prism No. 2 MK II X6 No. 190856. Manufactured by Kershaw in 1943. Its graduated optics are in perfect working order. The ties in webbing are all original and have never been disturbed. The name appears on the belt, D S Catlin. Note some wear and tear and discoloration on this item. The item is as found. It was located in a field near the battery of Merville a few days after the fighting on June 6. An illustration can be found on page 32 in the book 75 objects of the Landings in Normandy.
