PATEK PHILIPPE | CALATRAVA, REF.3796 'PINK ON PINK', A PINK GOLD WRISTWATCH, CIRCA 1990 Case/Movement No: 2'964'829 / 1'846'422 Calibre: 215, manual winding, signed Dial: Pink, signed Case: 30.5mm, 18k pink gold, snap-on case back, signed Strap: Maker's endangered species, 18k pink gold buckle, signed Accompaniments: Maker's presentation box and Certificate of Origin 百達翡麗 | CALATRAVA，3796型號 '粉紅配粉紅'，玫瑰金手動上弦腕錶，年份約1990。附原廠錶盒及證書。 Footnotes: The Patek Philippe reference 3796 is a Calatrava wristwatch featuring a pink gold case and dial, a rare combination that lends the watch a vintage look. In addition, the smaller case size evokes a more traditional sizing worn early in the 20th century before larger case sizes became all the rage. The present example was produced by Patek Philippe between 1982 and 1999, and belongs to the neo-vintage era of watchmaking, utilizing the aesthetic of vintage timepieces with modern technologies and innovations. The current lot is in very good condition and is a beautiful example of turn of the century watchmaking from arguably the world's greatest watchmaker.
