PERIDOT AND SEED PEARL PENDANT, CIRCA 1900 Oval and pear-cut peridot Seed pearls Mounted in gold Accompanied by a trace-link chain Lengths: pendant 6.5cm, chain 39.0cm Weight approx. 8.0g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Pendant: overall in good condition with negligible wear to unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 14ct gold). Chain: later/modern, negligible wear to unhallmarked yellow metal (testing as 18ct gold), clasp secure. GEMSTONES Pear-cut peridot measuring approx. 10.8 x 6.3 x 4.3mm. Both displaying even, medium lightish yellowish-green with excellent transparencies. Some very minor abrasions to facet edges visible with 10x magnification, oval-shaped peridot with a small conchoidal chip near setting, visible with magnification. Seed pearls with good lustres and skin mostly smooth. This condition report is provided for your convenience based on the opinion of our gemmologists. Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
