GERONIMO aka JUMPING BULL Back to the Roots, 2023 Collaboration with The Metal Team Sauvage & Son, brass, signed in black ink by Mick Jagger to the front, signed, inscribed and dated by the artist to the right side 'No. 1/1 GERONIMO AKA JUMPING BULL Back to the Roots', with certificate of authenticity 109 x 66 x 18cm (43 x 26 x 7in). Footnotes: Self-taught visual artist GERONIMO, aka 'JUMPING BULL', was first introduced to Keith Richards during the final leg of a Rolling Stones world tour, and a firm friendship was forged. Keith, along with Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood, still feature prominently in this Native American artist's paintings, portraits and sculptures. GERONIMO is always pushing himself to new levels and breaking new ground – 'Thinking that everything you do is the best is not me. I always work on myself to give more'. In Native American culture, they watch who you become before giving you a tribal name. GERONIMO is 'Jumping Bull' - the one who leaps over obstacles.' Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
