c.1976 Honda CJ250T Frame no. CJ250T-2012356 Engine no. CJ250TE-2012698 Please kindly note that this motorbike will be available for viewing by prior appointment in Dortmund: please contact eva.lengler@bonhams.com for booking. In 1976 Honda's short-lived CB250/360 'G' models were replaced by the extensively restyled CJ250/360T. In an effort to save weight, both models reverted to five-speed gearboxes and lost their electric starters, while the Siamesed exhaust system fed a single silencer on the right-hand side. Their plain colours, un-braced mudguard, streamlined tank and sleek seat (complete with integral tailpiece), all contributed to the duo's fresh look. Like their immediate predecessors, the CJ models were destined for a short life and were replaced in 1977 by the three-valves-per-cylinder CB250/400 range. Representing a rare opportunity to acquire an apparently original example of one of these late-1970s Japanese classics, the CJ250T we offer comes with a folder of German paperwork to include a Fahrzeugbrief (registration document). The engine turns over. Offered with key Footnotes: Please kindly note that VAT at the prevailing german rate (currently 19%) will be added to the buyer's premium which will be invoiced on a VAT exclusive basis. If you are planning to export, please make the department aware. Lot to be sold without reserve.
