Six Yao ceremonial paintings and a portrait of Laozi Jiaqing, Daoguang, to mid 20th century 122 x 49, 84.0 x 41.0cm (x2), 121.0x 47.0cm, 123.0 x 48.0cm (7). Footnotes: 嘉慶、道光，及其后 雲貴瑤族道教神像六幅及老子像一幅 款識： （一）皇清同治二年（1865）桂月日。祈保各家清吉喜助功德一軸。信士黃心多，信士劉心熙。令據羅坑東保。 （二）（畫心背面）李天師佛趙元寶記 （三）九齒佛。弟子盤法彰聼雲南省廣南縣寶月関......公元一九五五年由於廣西省武鳴縣肥衡鄉彩畫人潘真功畫成吉時開光給與子孫後代十方應用。 （四）（畫心背面，詳文略）太惠。大清國貴州道佈政使......皇上嘉慶二十三年戊寅（1818）嵗十月初十日。 （五）（畫心背面）趙道傳號 （六）太清宮。公元一九五五年三月廿九日於廣南省武鳴縣衡鄉彩畫匠潘天益真功畫成開光給與子孫後代十方應用。紀念。 A part of the collection of Yao ceremonial paintings of Dr John Yu was donated to the Art Gallery New South Wales (acc.no.268.2006, 269.2006, 267.2006, 270.2006), some are on display in the Asian Lantern galleries at the time of this catalogue. The works in the donation span in age from the Jiaqing period to the mid 20th century, just as this current group.
