1975 Suzuki B120 Registration no. JTA 156N Frame no. B100-164652 Engine no. B100-167738 The Suzuki B120, also known as the 'Suzuki Super', is a classic two-stroke motorcycle first introduced in the 1960s. Targeted at both beginners and experienced riders, it became renowned for its durability, simplicity, and efficiency. Equipped with a 118cc single-cylinder engine, the B120 was capable of producing around 8 horsepower, providing a smooth yet modest riding experience suitable for urban commuting and light touring. One of the standout features of the B120 was its dual-transmission system, offering a low and high gear range, which added versatility for different riding conditions. Its two-stroke engine was air-cooled, and paired with Suzuki's CCI (Cylinder Crankcase Injection) lubrication system, it minimized maintenance concerns—a significant advantage for budget-conscious riders. With a lightweight frame, the B120 offered excellent maneuverability and ease of handling, making it a popular choice in markets worldwide, particularly in Asia and Europe. Its design was modest yet functional, with a focus on practicality over luxury. The motorcycle also had a reputation for fuel efficiency, adding to its appeal during times when affordability was paramount. Today, the Suzuki B120 holds a nostalgic charm for enthusiasts and collectors, representing an era of simple, reliable motorcycling. Its legacy is one of timeless practicality and robust engineering. Currently displaying 27,974 miles on the speedometer, this charming little B120 was used by the late owner and his wife as a commuter around their seaside town, ideal for whizzing about the lanes. Not used for some time, it will require careful recommissioning or restoration to a greater or lesser extent before returning to the road. Offered with a V5C. Offered with key Footnotes: All lots are sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.
