Colonel E.H. Taylor Warehouse C Tornado Surviving (1 750ml bottle) Kentucky official bottling, light wrinkling to labels In 2006, a severe storm ripped through two Buffalo Trace Distillery ageing warehouses. One of them was Warehouse C, which was housed on property Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. built in the 1880's. The damage left several ageing barrels exposed to the elements for a full summer. When tasted some years later the barrels were discovered to have a unique richness. The E. H. Taylor collection is an homage to Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. who operated the O.F.C distillery in the late 1800s. He would eventually sell the property to George T. Stagg who renamed the site George T. Stagg Distillery. Today the brand is produced by the Buffalo Trace Distillery under the Sazerac Company. 750ml 50% 1 bottle (ot) This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: • • Zero rated for tax, no tax will be added to the Hammer Price or the Buyer's Premium.
